Rainforest & Wildlife Volunteer Program

The principal property for the placement Rainforestation Nature Park, located 30 minutes north-west of Cairns on 100 acres of tropical rainforest in North Queensland. Rainforestation is a long-established, family owned attraction, which offers rainforest, wildlife, and cultural experiences to the public. The property includes a wildlife park with native Australian animals; Aboriginal Cultural Experiences; rainforest tours over land and water by amphibious Army Ducks; tropical fruit orchard and 3 food & beverages catering outlets serving local produce and catering for exclusive events. The Rainforest & Wildlife Volunteer Program will encompass a range of duties utilising several areas of the park with experienced staff as program guides. Most volunteers will also spend time volunteering at The Australian Butterfly Sanctuary and Cairns ZOOM and Wildlife Dome which are also owned by the CaPTA Group. The focus of the program projects will be rainforest, nature and wildlife.
