About Program
The CNSC Volunteer Expedition was created so that we could share our love and understanding of the north with you! Volunteers have always helped the CNSC to function smoothly and efficiently. We welcome volunteers for our northern lights season (February & March), beluga season (June & July), polar bear season (October & November) and all other months during off season! Our Volunteer Expedition will run for a minimum of three (3) weeks at our non profit, independent subarctic research station.
This expedition offers meals, accommodations, hands on sustainability and science tasks, CNSC membership, weekly transport into Churchill and much more.
Your financial contribution as a volunteer has a major impact. Not only does it cover the costs of running the Volunteer Expedition – including staff expenses, activities, accommodations, and food – but it also allows us to provide researchers an affordable, accessible location to continue their valuable work.
