About Program
Caritas Smile is a non-profit organization that connects intent with action. We work with individuals looking to volunteer and change their own lives by positively influencing the lives of women and children in need in Latin America and the United States. Volunteers make a difference in a multitude of ways, by imparting education, training, resources, and myriads of cheer and hope.
Caritas Smile service learning programs include: Teaching English, Volunteering to rebuild a school, Rebuilding or help to build a home, Conducting art/music/dance lessons for youth, Working in a children's clinic.
Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger.
