About Program

Welcome to The Love Company Orphanage! is a non for profit orphanage that requires the help of volunteers to provide the love and support that is necessity in the development of every child’s life to grow.
Volunteers teach Basic English, creative works and other subjects such as math and science to these eager learners. As a volunteer, you also organize tours, games, drawings, singing, dancing, painting and other activities that the children enjoy and also learn something at the same time. Volunteers may help the children prepare for school, and help with their homework.
Many of our former volunteers have reported that this project, in particular, has been memorable and fulfilling, and has changed the way they view the world.

Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger. You can read about the potential dangers of orphanage volunteering here.

The Love Company Review

I contacted Krishna back in July 2016 as I wanted to go to Nepal and wanted to help out.Krishna was helpful and had arranged all the transfers and bus journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara.

When we arrived at Pokhara Krishna talked us through how things worked.

We went to Krishna house in the morning had tea, bread and fruits and deep and meaningful conversations which was great.

We then walked unto the orphanage and dropped the children off to school.

We had a fair amount of downtime to also see and tour around Pokhara. Whilst at the Orphanage we pick the children up from school. We would help with homework and play with the children. We would sing songs with them and tell stories about life in the UK.The kids at the orphanage were a real pleasure to be around. They cooked us moms once and it was amazing how all of them helped out in the process of making them.

This journey for me awesome and I would like to go back again.

An Amazing volunteering experieance

I have been volunteering in Nepal for 3 months now and this has by far been the best experience. I have only been here for five days and am in love with everything. The children are so loving and intelligent. Everyday when you bring them to school you are hugged and kisses and get to send them off for the day and you get to bring them home for school do some homework and play! They are so smart and loving and always are a good time to be around. most of them have only been in school since they came to the orphanage and have already improved on their studies its hard to believe they haven't been going the whole time like other children in Nepal. There are 14 children and all of them are so special. Una the woman in charge is amazing with the kids as well and cooks some wonderful Daal Bhatt for dinner. On Fridays they have half days and you get the chance to go play football and have a wonderful time running around with the kids! This is my favorite day. In spite of their prior situations they are extremely happy healthy children now and it is an honor to be with them. Chrisna the coordinator is very great to work with, we have breakfast with him and his wife every morning which is a pleasure. He founded this orphanage and runs it very well. In your off time there is a lot of stuff to do in pokhara, beautiful trekking, time at the lake and much more. I will be back soon to see these beautiful children!

Hello Krishna

I’m great thank you.*:) happy*:) happy*:) happy
I have been trying to get a hold of Sanjeeta many times and she is not answering her phone?
I would like to keep in touch with her periodically so I can talk with the children :)
Do you have another mobile for her?
As promised here is my testimonial below
Testimonial: April/May 2013
My time at the Orphanage was the most magical and memorable experience of my life :) Till this day I think about the loving and open hearted little Buddha children. Their souls are so pure and full of love. I can recall clearly arriving at the orphanage with Master Krishna, I was a little nervous and also excited to meet them. When they all came out from the house, the first thing that captured my heart were their loving eyes and smiles, I felt so emotional and immediately felt a higher love. I cried inside because I have never felt this LOVE, it was pure, real and innocent love. I decided to come to Nepal because I wanted to give my whole heart completely, my all, my everything to the children and the people of Nepal.
Than you Master Krishna for giving me the opportunity to work with the children, thank you Parbati for your delicious break fast, your porridge with bananas was very tasty, especially enjoyed your Nepali tea. I also loved watching the children eat their dinner each night, just being able to eat with them was a beautiful experience :)
I felt welcomed immediately at the Orphanage home and Master Krishna’s home. All the children said hello and then a beautiful moment arose. One of the girls Mamota grabbed my hand and it was so beautiful, I was speechless. My heart was full of love.
The children are all very bright, loving, caring, wise souls. Each of them have a magical and unique character.
I felt they were much older inside, through their eyes I saw wisdom, I saw strength, I saw allot of LOVE.
We had so much fun together, I loved their cheekiness, their play-fullness. These children are very different from children in the western world, they appreciate all they have, because they have little. Each day when I came to the orphanage, the children would run so fast to me and jump on me and hold me and they don’t want to let me go, this was an incredibly feeling :)
I cried so much on my last day at the orphanage it was difficult seeing all there precious faces and having to tell them I am going. I have taken many photos and videos with them.
Nepal is my soul connection and I know I will be back to kiss and hug them all again soon :)
Thank you Master Krishna, thank you Buddha, thank you god, thank you universe for the most heart felt experience of my life.
Thank you to my beautiful children of Nepal for giving me so much LOVE, I love you, Biraj, Dinesh, Susmita, Mamata, Bishal, Manoj, Shristi and Samrat.
In my heart forever you will be :)
With love and Inspiration
Namaste
Georgina xx
