Volunteer and Travel in Portugal with YMCA Camp Alambre

YMCA Camp Alambre is looking for dynamic and committed teachers and counselors for Summer Camps. Teachers will be responsible for planning and delivering daily English classes. Counselors will support English classes and together with the Portuguese monitors, will be responsible for implementing the program and its activities.
The official language at the camp will be English and the intention will be for the children to participate in an English immersion experience.
In addition to English classes, campers will engage in nature sport activities (rock climbing, canoeing, rappelling, hiking ...), treasure hunting, lots of games, archery, beach trips and more. Throughout the Camp we also have a responsibility to promote a sense of protection and conservation of nature, respect for others, honesty, creativity, strategic and critical thinking, healthy living habits, among many others.
