About Program
At UCare International, we have several areas in which you as volunteer can work:
Tutoring: Help our students by tutoring them in school subjects, helping with homework, and other types of educational instruction.
Crafts: Teach our students how to make crafts for sale and fun.
Physical Activity: Sports, Dance, Martial Arts, Gymnastics, or anything else!
Body: Teach about health/sanitation, hair styling, cosmetology, hygiene
Center: Caring for young children, organizing games and play, helping with cooking and meals, farming, feeding animals, etc.
Technical Literacy: teaching computer skills, terminology, and other technologies
Skills: Help with building projects and other facility improvements
Administrative: Data entry, grant writing, social media and fundraising
Outings: Take the children on local outings.
Medical: Licensed doctors, nurses, psychologists, and other medical professionals to do physical/mental health assessments, and provide therapy for children.
Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger. Program Impact
Each volunteer has a huge impact on all of our children. Every volunteer is a sign to our kids that they are important and that people in the world care about them. Every visit brings a smile to their faces and hope for a better future. We hope each interaction will leave a positive impact on our kids so that they can grow-up to be successful citizens.
