About Program
This award-winning project gives volunteers the chance to witness the captivating and critically endangered mountain gorillas in their lush Ugandan habitat. The aim of this gorilla conservation project is to provide both gorillas and indigenous communities in the region with a sustainable future in the home they share.
Gorilla treks will take place in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is home to half of the world's population of mountain gorillas. Volunteers will work with local communities on sustainable land use and provide underprivileged children with knowledge of the importance of preserving the biodiversity residing on their doorstep. You will also have the unforgettable experience of tracking chimps in the jungle and even taking a trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you could spot tree climbing lions and more hippos than you could ever imagine!
This truly is an eye-opening and rewarding project. Secure your place on The Great Gorilla Project today!
