Japan is a wonderful place for people new to the field of education and teaching! Typical working hours are roughly 40 hours per week. The pay could be better, but it is enough to live on. The benefits/ insurance are wonderful! Japan has a large expat community, so it's easy to find like minded friends! The country is extremely safe and welcoming.
