Amazing Experience!!!

I have 0 complaints about my time with IVHQ! I went to Madagascar and volunteered with their teaching program. From start to finish, the experience was incredible and that is largely due to all of the staff who work so hard to make the process so smooth. As soon as I registered/was accepted into the program communications started coming in from Jen, the program manager about what to expect and what I needed to do in order to ensure I had a smooth experience. She ensured that I had accommodations upon my arrival, that my vaccines were in order, and sent me all the necessary information I would need prior to arriving in Madagascar.

Once I was at camp she communicated to see how things were going (missed that email though since I didn’t really use my phone all that much) and if there was anything that I needed.

When I arrived at the camp, everyone there was so kind and friendly. I cannot say enough good things about each and every one of them. Camp was so clean and well-maintained. The entire week the staff made sure that we knew they were there should we have any questions!

The teaching portion of the experience as life-changing. IVHQ really made sure we were truly immersed into the culture and into the classrooms during our time there! Each day we knew where we were going to be teaching and which class we would teach. They also reviewed what we would be teaching with us.

Overall I would recommend this experience with IVHQ to ANYONE. It is unreal and totally life-changing.
