Fruitful, enriching, and incredibly fun

Anthony Bourdain's wisdom of being "a traveler, not a tourist," is the perfect way to describe my experience in Tokyo with CRCC. While I typically love backpacking when I travel, this program forced me out of my comfort zone to experience what is was like to live like a expat and thoroughly experience the all of the pros and cons of Tokyo. The program is pretty hands-off when it comes to your internship and activities - which is something I appreciated but some may prefer more involvement. Overall, I highly recommend this program to those who can afford it (many schools have scholarships for this !!). At the end of my time though, it was really the friends I made who really made my experience.
