About Program
Travel this summer and become a more proficient Spanish speaker through this language immersion program in Spain. With programs for high school and middle school, Putney students engage in real-world language learning activities with native speakers as well as learn to surf in the Cantabrian Sea, hike among grazing cows in the Picos de Europa, and play soccer with local children in a small coastal village.
Explore the lively streets of Madrid, visiting world-renowned art museums, standing on the pitch at Real Madrid's stadium, and learning about the history of the Spanish government from inside the Royal Palace.
Experience Spanish life through a day-stay, spending days with your Spanish host family and reconvening with your group at night. End your trip with a visit to the Moorish palace of La Alhambra in Granada, a flamenco performance, and a hike up Spain's tallest mountain.
