A Minnesota, USA native, Riley has taken her love of travel and adventure all the way out to the east coast, now located in Northampton, Massachusetts working as an adviser for Premier TEFL!

What is your favorite travel memory?

This would have to be the time my friend and I were staying in Rome, but had only really seen the "touristy" areas of the city. We ended up befriending the other person in our hostel dorm, and we took a bus out to the complete opposite side of the city, and spent an entire evening exploring random little neighborhoods in Rome, browsing street vendors' art, drinking Prosecco overlooking the city.

It was truly a remarkable "stepping off the beaten path" moment! It definitely reminded me that getting out of your comfort zone is always healthy and feels awesome.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

This job has given me a huge sense of responsibility and understanding that I've never tapped into before. Speaking with students and prospective teachers every day means you really have to be able to listen and hear exactly what each individual person is looking for during their experience. This is a huge step that they are taking with Premier TEFL and making them feel as confident and excited about their choice is key!

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

I would definitely go on our Taiwan program. There is something about that island that seems so endearing! A bit of a stray from the normal destinations many people think of when they talk about TEFL, the insane landscapes and scenery look breathtaking and absolutely unbeatable! The high paying stipend doesn't hurt either.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

Our company is full of people who are extremely passionate about making TEFL experiences as meaningful and fulfilling as possible. Not only that, but we try to make our certifications as accessible and affordable for anyone who wants to start a career in the TEFL industry.

I've never worked in such a supportive and team-oriented environment, on those crazy days everyone is always there to help and encourage one another, it's something really special!

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

I think the biggest factor in being a successful company comes down to the way we operate when it comes to customer care and service.

Since our company is based around creating amazing experiences abroad for our students and teachers, it's so important that they have a fantastic experience working with Premier TEFL the whole way through, and not just when they arrive at their destination!
