Rowena has a drive for perfection in all aspects of life. She shares this character with the students assisting them in finding the best in themselves and inspiring a sense of self-worth and respect.

What is your favorite travel memory?

The 3 week Cape Trip where we have a jam-packed program of the wild coast hike, bungee jumping, skydiving, canyoning, white water rafting, wine appreciation, seeing a whole other side of South Africa! Every year I do it; it’s different because I do it with a different group :)

It’s the highlight of the year, so we keep it till the very end.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I discovered I am and love being the change in the world we need. Seeing youth discover the very best versions of themselves assists me in striving to be the best version of myself!

I wouldn’t want to do any other job: this is my passion and I love Warriors Academy! Changing lives is rewarding and beautiful.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

She thanked us for inspiring her love for healthy food and went to study business and cheffing after leaving Warriors. Today she owns one of the top vegetarian restaurants in SA!

She is also an author and an amazing ambassador for our program. Her family is still very much involved with the Warriors family.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

The Toltec Self-mastery course. It’s a good look into your soul and the relationship you hold with yourself and the world. It’s a cleansing of the body, mind, and soul. Clean food, exercise, TRE, and some good insights into who you are. You walk out of here having seen you have so much more potential than you give yourself credit for!

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

We are a small family run business with amazing stories and massive success stories about our students to brag about. Our students are our family too and always return home (base camp) long after they have finished the program. I am most proud when I walk in public with my representing role-model students.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

That it is a family run business with an incredible team who do this for the love, not the money!

We all have different personalities and strengths and use them wisely. We don’t just work together: we okay together too.

This family is straight out of a fairytale. If you don’t believe me, come visit us and see!
