Working in the travel industry for 4 years now and absolutely love it! Helping people achieve their travel dreams is very fulfilling and with the world opening up after COVID the time is now!!

What is your favorite travel memory?

Costa Rica - Travelling to CR was a little daunting at first but once I arrived the place is an absolute dream, super affordable and the locals are amazingly friendly. Waking up in Tamarindo to howler monkeys, a beautiful sunrise over the mountains and ocean noises will never leave the memory bank. Needs to be on everyone's bucket list.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

Massively!! Travel has become a big part of my life and future goals. Global offers massive flexibility when it comes to working and travelling with multiple offices worldwide and yearly trips to fuel the travel dream. Travelling really does make you value the smaller things in life and someone like myself living in Australia makes you feel how lucky you are.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

We had a customer do one of our working holiday trips who was a nervous wreck and called our emergency line almost every second day leading up to the trip. Now 3 years on she has completed almost 3 trips with us and has earnt money on 3 different continents. To go from super nervous about travelling and probably wouldn't have gone if not for our amazing team to now being a world traveller is pretty amazing.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

Rescue Paws Thailand, this program was co-founded by Global and the company is very pro-life and even has a Non-Profit charity called GAWF which directly funds Rescue Paws but personally, I am a big dog lover and would love to work closely with some puppies. The location is in the south of Thailand which is also high on the bucket list.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

The company itself is very generous when it comes to giving back money to animal charities and helping not only local charities but worldwide as well, recently the company saved over 20 dogs from a China meat market and had them sent to Canada to be adopted. So coming into work and seeing this really makes you value your time.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

Providing both amazing travel experiences and customer journeys. Travelling is scary so making sure you are available at all times for our travellers to feel comfortable travelling abroad. Global provides lots of flexibility as we know travel plans can change and that added security makes travelling that much more achievable.
