Korvia

Korvia was a great help in getting me here and keeping me here when it was time to renew or look for a new school. They have a very friendly and hard working staff. Whenever an application became complicated, they helped me through it as well as any other snags. They also are very professional and understand the stess that can come with moving to a new country. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to teach in Korea.

Best recruiting company!

KorVia has been absolutely amazing! They were there for me every step of the way. The application process, setting up interviews, visa arrangements, they did it all! Jessie was a star. I definitely would not be here without her. She was always prompt when answering any questions I had, and she truly went above and beyond to make the transition a smooth one. I love my job and city, and I'm so grateful that I chose KorVia!

Korvia is awesome!

I started working as an English teacher in Korea back in 2015 through the EPIK program. Even though I am very thankful to EPIK for getting me to Korea, I am super thankful that I switched to Korvia in 2017. The staff are amazingly helpful (Yay Ann!), I received multiple interview offers at different types of schools, and I got to pick the school that I liked the most. I just renewed with the school Korvia helped me get into and I absolutely love it here. Thank you, Korvia! :)

YASSS! Use Korvia!! :)

I've been in Korea for over 5 years and I have to admit, Korvia is the best recruiting companies I've used. They helped me twice in finding a new job in Korea. They are very professional and helpful. In the two times I've used them, almost all the recruiters helped me in different ways. But I have to give my love to Jina, Ann, Jessie and Thelma! They are the sweetest and most understanding recruiters. I'm a nervous wreck when it comes to applying for jobs and they pretty much held my hand throughout the whole process! I don't know what I would do without them. I've used other recruiters before, but they are the best!! :D :D :D

Just use Korvia, Okay??

Firstly, this service is FREE! I know people who have gone through this process on their own and there were times when they were totally lost. In the end, it worked out for them, but why add that stress when you don't have to?? Moving abroad is already stressful enough on its own, so take advantage of this FREE service.

I had a great experience with Korvia! My goal was to teach through the EPIK program, and I felt more at ease throughout the application knowing that Korvia could anticipate what EPIK would need from me. My recruiter, Jessie, was very helpful! She was always prompt with her responses, which is so important during this process because you want to turn in your application and various documents ASAP. And trust me, there will be many questions. Her encouragement throughout the application process and beyond was exactly what I needed during this stressful time. Now that I am settled in Korea, I know that I can still go to her with any questions that I have.

Another benefit of working with Korvia, is that their various partnerships allow you to receive some great deals! There are some discounts they can offer you that help offset the expenses of applying to teach in Korea. For example getting a prepaid SIM card (for your phone) that will be ready at the airport upon your arrival in Korea. There are other offers I did not take advantage of, but that others have found very useful!

My advice would be to do everything earlier than you think you have to, double check everything yourself, and be proactive! Korvia is an amazing help, but in the end its YOUR application and YOUR experience. They work hard to support you, but you also have to work hard! :)

Amazing

Korvia has made the process to live abroad stress free! I would definitely recommend Korvia again, and would genuinely use them over and over. Living abroad is exciting yet terrifying notion but Korvia has been there every step of the way for me. From the initial application process, interview and even arrival. My recruiter has been able to address my questions in an extremely timely manner. I have been fortunate enough that the process was facilitated immensely for me.

Korvia were Great!

Korvia helped me every step of the way! Jessie was an amazing recruiter! I recommend Korvia to everyone. They answer all your questions quickly and make the process of finding a teaching job in Korea painless. They work as your best buddy as you go through the process, they support you every step of the way. You can find a English teaching job in Korea without Korvia, but why would you want to? They are the best recruiter around.

Good

I found the registration process straightforward and was invited for an interview within a few days after submitting my application. My consultant gave me advice concerning Private academies, GEPIK and GOE programs. I decided to apply for the GOE program because they welcome new teachers, run workshops to improve teaching skills and also offer a brief orientation. Throughout the latter stage of the document process I worked with various recruiters.

During the orientation I received a lot of support from GOE staff & Mr Wery from Korean Horizons. I learnt that applicants from Korean Horizons seemed more informed and had a stronger network of support even when they were in Korea. Moreover, their accommodation was more suited being a business motel and their fee was much lower.
Mr Wery assisted all applicants on both days of orientation including transport to & from the health centre.

In reflection, I feel Korvia lacked in certain areas given their reputation, and it would have been nice to meet a member of staff in person at the orientation. My experience with them has been okay and I appreciate all those who I worked with. Despite a few setbacks they enabled me to secure a teaching position on time.
I am also grateful for the way GOE staff and Mr Wery helped make the orientation a smooth process.
