About Program
Live with a volunteer family in Spain this summer and improve your Spanish while experiencing Spain the authentic way!
Choosing our full immersion trips is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that helped improve speaking of many students.
-Length:1-6 weeks.
-Host family with a teen of similar age .
-Speak Spanish from start to finish & completely immersed in Spanish family life and culture.
-Location: The historic city of Granada is rich in Andalucian culture and tradition, located at the feet of the Sierra Nevada mountains and just an hour away from the beach, whereas Almeria is a vibrant city with pleasant mediterranean beaches. Our local families are eager to host and forge a connection with a student from the US.
-Optional conversational Spanish lessons .
-Very flexible program - you choose the dates and length of stay.
-Guidance & support from our dedicated host family coordinator, available from arrival to departure and on call 24/7 throughout your stay.

I don’t know if the program allows for that, and frankly, I wouldn’t recommend it. Here’s why: if the goal is to immerse in Spanish language learning, then having an English speaking friend living with you would be totally counterproductive. I would recommend that friends apply to the program together, but live with different families in the same city. They could see eachother occasionally, but...
