About Program

Think giant water fight but with tomatoes! Join the masses from the Aug 25 - 27, 2020 in the Valencian town of Buñol, 19 miles from the Mediterranean, as you throw, launch, catapult, pelt, fling and toss tomatoes at friends, foes…everyone! The festival is one morning of madness with thousands of people in the streets participating in one of the biggest food fights in the world.

When we’re not hurling tomatoes, we’re chilling by the pool, sunning on the beach and raving at our campsite parties.

And for the more dedicated partiers, there's the official after party in Valencia the night of Tomatina. Come get messy with us!

Went to the 2017 La Tomatina and what a great experience. Stoke has a big campsite full of activities, people and good times. I met over 100 people as we partied, discovered and threw tomatoes at each other in the Valencian province. These are the kind of unique cultural events that just aren't the same if you don't do them in a group full of people looking to do the same thing. Stoke made it that once in a lifetime feeling of happiness and discovery. The food was great, accomodation decent, but to be honest you don't really go there to sleep. There's always something going on. Cheers to the great people working there, absolute legends.

What would you improve about this program?

Don't! It's plain awesome as it is.

Wauw, La Tomatina, is so great.... together with all strange people you throw tomatoes on each other, it is be coming a huge tomato bath. Stoke Travel helps me to remember this party as one of the best days of my life. The staff is so kind and helpful, they want that the customers this days experience as a good one. The accommodation is organized good and also the food taste jummieee (Breakfast and dinner included, and that only for 60 euros each day)! If you like it to have a great party with friends, locals, tourist and tomatoes then is this something for you!

Going to La Tomatina with Stoke travel was an experience worth going through. The people we were with were so positive and happy that there was never a dull moment. Everyone was always helpful. The festival itself was a blast too ! so much going on so many people and if you love tomatoes and the color red in general this is definitely the place to be. And if you love to party then this is the place to be ! Music dancing running around and a big food fight with tomatoes ! Come on and try it out !

Chris, tell us about your role at Stoke Travel.

I'm responsible for all incoming bookings from Barcelona or related to Barcelona. This includes our City Breaks, Boat Parties, and Day trips and activities in Barcelona. Aside from this, I do some back office work to get our company optimized on online travel agencies such as booking.com and Expedia.

What is your favorite travel memory?

Springfest with Stoke Travel. I worked on the campsite there which was a party in itself. The beer halls were very fun as well. It was snowing and very cold the week I was there, but this did not interfere with the fun we had with each other and the customers!

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I started as an intern and am now a full-time employee. I wrote my graduation thesis for Stoke Travel and had such a good time with the company that I wanted to stay. Luckily for me, Stoke was thinking the same thing about me.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

Oktoberfest. I went to Springfest and it was amazing. I'd love to do it again, but bigger - and that's Oktoberfest. My colleagues all speak highly of it, that it's an enhanced version of Springfest, so I can't wait to get back to Munich and the beer halls.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

Stoke has a very laid back and flexible team with a personal touch towards the customers. As a customer you are not just a number here to make money off, people take the time for you and add a personal touch to it. You can actually meet us at the festivals and have a beer!

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

The personal touch makes it stand out from the other travel companies who are getting more and more automated. We don't have automated replies when you communicate with us through email and you will always get an actual person on the phone when you call us!

Another success factor is the flexibility. We are able to move things around for your benefit, it's not this is this and that is that.
