About Program

Rediscover the historical essence of the California Ghost Town Circuit and learn more about the town's mining history by joining this 3-week American History Restoration Gap year program. Your work will be focused on the restoration and preservation of over 100 buildings at the Bodie State Historic Park, a genuine California gold-mining ghost town. There are no specific requirements for the project aside from reasonable level of fitness to do manual labor and enjoy the American outdoor activities. This program had been carefully developed to keep the participants and locals safe considering the present global health situation so you may be asked to take a PCR test before participating. Deadline for application is on June 11 so contact our advisors now to book your space on the program!
