Internship Camp in Italy - Boost your career

I joined the STSicily Internship Camp and keeping in mind that I was distrustful from the start about my job arrangement, it ended up being the best entry-level position I had. I am happy I trusted STSicily and their direction for my job in Sicily. The experience without STSicily can't be equivalent to they help you to get settled in Sicily for the time you will be there which is commonly short. The correspondence between their group, my colleagues and I went smooth. I felt a feeling of care from the staff of STSicily as they kept determining the status of us, meeting us and sharing their bits of knowledge and information about the city.
I met such huge numbers of understudies and experts through this Internship Camp, which would have been more diligently without experiencing a sorted out organization. The weekend outing to Cefalu, Palermo, San Vitto Lo Capo was so cool. My best tip is to put it all on the line and trust that your experience, all in all, will positively affect your expert development and your system.

This was my first internship experience and thanks to STSicily. I came to Balestrate On 7th of May and stayed along with 4 of my friends. 2 from India and 2 from France. The office was 5 mins walk from my accommodation. All the supermarkets , restaurants were few minutes walk and was easily accessible from my accommodation. Every weekends we used to go to visit new places which was the highlight of this internship camp. I have discovered a lot of Sicilian places during my stay and also tried many varieties of Pizzas. ;)

My name is William. I come from Germany. As part of my studies I had to do an internship for 2 months. I was selected and placed in STSicily during the summer 2019. This was my first experience and thanks to Mr. Piero Tuzzo for giving this opportunity. The internship really benefited me in a lot of ways. I learnt to live independently for two months. The best thing about this internship was all the students were living close to each other and this helped me to make friendship with all the other students. I learnt a little bit of Italian during my two months of stay and I wish to continue learning Italian. Also, the English language course helped me to improve my level of english language skills. Apart from this , there were business courses which were very useful as i have learnt some new sets of tools and methodologies.

While interning and living in Sicily for 2 months I can sincerely say this is one of the most life-changing occasions of my life. I interned for a promoting organization that was ideal for me since I was encompassed by such pleasant, accommodating and inviting colleagues. I altogether making the most of my entry-level position and I've increased a lot of information in the field of advertising, which was my objective. With respect to my involvement with Sicily, Italy in general, I've had a productive encounter since Sicily is so wonderful and has an unbelievable history. STSicily Group set up some extremely fun occasions for our gathering that united us and framed companionships. STSicily Group made the way toward working and living in Sicily, Italy so natural and agreeable, which was instrumental I would say. By putting us in lofts that are near markets, visitor territories, and pleasant cafés. Additionally, by ensuring that we're sheltered and having a ball with trips that are intriguing. This groundbreaking experience has helped me become an individual and I'm extremely grateful to STSicily Group and Piero TUZZO for all their assistance.

My name is Catherina. I am a BTS student from France. This was my first internship experience abroad and I am glad that I received it from STSicily group. I was in Sicily for 8 weeks for my internship. I lived with 3 of my friends from France and the place where we used to stay was amazing. We could see the view of the beach from our terrace and the beach was few minutes walk. Every weekends we used to go out for party's and the restaurants, super markets were all few minutes walk from our place. We visited to many historical places in the capital city Palermo where we enjoyed a lot.. Also STsicily conducted variety of fun and perks for the students like the boat excursions, cooking classes, city tour, food festivals etc.. Overall it was a different experience and I enjoyed the Sicilian food a lot.

Hi, I am Rayyan. When I was in Sicily, I learnt a lot about the way to talk with others, and how to make friends with new people. STSicily group did a terrific job in assisting me find the right placement for my professional desires. I was working for a real estate company to help the company develop the business abroad which involved prospection, emailing and finally phone calls. STSicily gave me the possibility to see my skills and supported me in every aspects of this internship. Also, it helped me to reinforce the competencies that I was weak in and expand the competencies that I was already secured in with a worldwide outlook on them.

I am Wenna Ramahatratra. I’m an international trade student in Poitiers in France. We arrived in Sicily, more precisely in Balestrate on Saturday 5th May 2018. First of all, we were all divided into different companies in Balestrate. I was placed at Marina Holiday Resort & Spa, which is a 4 and a half star hotel. My work in this hotel is based mainly on prospecting and therefore communication. So, I had different tasks like creating a database; secondly the emailing and finally the phoning.
These tasks were entrusted to us to attract even more potential customers in the hotel; moreover, they also allowed us to search for several partnerships, etc …
During these 7 weeks of training, we also had English lessons every Thursday afternoon, courses on international business, courses on the history of Sicily, courses to improve our level of English.
Secondly, apart from our internship, outings bringing all together the 25 students were organized. For example, an excursion to Partinico, to a museum of the marionette, then a visit to the commune of Partinico as well as shops, a day trip to Palermo has been scheduled, a day trip to the volcano "Etna", a boat trip.
Thirdly, we had press conferences, meetings filmed by the Sicilian TV, interviews about our internship, what we do here, about the project that we have been working on.
All our conferences were filmed by the press and broadcast on the newscast of Sicily / the Italia …
Sicily is, therefore, several strengths already thanks to its turquoise sea, its high temperatures, our place of internship well located, also thanks to the kind and very sociable people bringing us so a good mood in the breasts of this commune. In the evening, we have a bar-restaurant "the why not" which is a nice place offering us dishes and drinks at reasonable prices. This restaurant is usually our meeting place at night with other students on our course. We were also able to taste Sicilian specialties such as "bruschettas .." and their pizzas, their pastries.
We also discovered their cultures, their traditions, their sacred monuments, their natural reserves. This internship brought us further professional experience, additional skills in business and communication. He also introduced us to the island while working.
