About Program
JCU is Australia’s leading university for the Tropics. Each trimester, we welcome students from all over the world to our Study Abroad program. The program gives you the opportunity to study at an undergraduate or postgraduate level in Tropical North Queensland for up to three consecutive trimesters (depending on your level of study), while receiving credit for your studies back home. North Queensland offers a unique combination of stunning climate, pollution-free environment and a relaxed lifestyle. Our campuses in Cairns and Townsville are each within 30 minutes of Australia's Big Three - the Great Barrier Reef, tropical rainforests and the outback.

Isn't it so cool to have the wallabies right on campus with you? I'm happy to hear that you felt so supported by the International Team during your time here. Thank you for pointing out one of the benefits of studying at JCU- even though our Townsville and Cairns campuses are regional, you have all the amenities that you need without losing that "small town" feel.
