About Program
This program provides an incredible opportunity to experience the vast landscapes and biodiversity of Mongolia. Operating from Round River’s base camp, students will spend their time assisting our partners in remote mountainous regions of Mongolia.
Our academic philosophy is to provide coursework that complements our field research; thus academics are designed to be interactive and hands-on. Students can expect to spend a few hours a day working on field journals, reading and discussing relevant articles with the group, attending lectures given by program instructors, and working on assignments and essays. When possible, guest lectures will also add to students’ understanding of local conservation issues. Each program culminates with a final written research paper and a presentation of the results to our project partners.
