About Program
This four-week Recreation and Sports Management golf experience in Scotland offers a high-performance program that includes courses on the History and Development of Golf, and Intermediate Performance Skills, and Golf Coaching at St. Andrews / Gleneagles for a week. These two courses provide practical as well as theory and will strengthen the resumes of students.
Students will learn about the history and development of golf and enhance their coaching and performance skills. The experience at St. Andrews / Gleneagles is a huge highlight for this four-week program.
Visits and tee times are scheduled at Dukes Golf Course at St. Andrews, Gleneagles, Kingarrock Hickory Golf Course, and others. Students are advised to contact their academic counselor to review the descriptions of the two courses for appropriate academic transfer credit. (6 U.S. academic credits)
