Teach English in China Program: free placement option available

Having been unsure what to do after my undergraduate, I was very lucky to have come across Impact Teaching. After an initial phone call to make sure I was the right fit, the application process was very straightforward.

Since the beginning of the journey, I was supported and have gained invaluable experience. From learning mandarin to understanding a whole new culture, the jump was most definitely worth it.

I completed a summer internship through Teach English in China back in 2018, and can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life. Without TEIC I would not have known where to start, but they helped me organise everything from finding an initial placement to getting my visa and arriving in China. I felt fully supported right up until I left China, and even though I did not need any support whilst in China (because my hosts were amazing) it was nice to know that TEIC were there if I needed them.

It was also great to experience the internship with four other girls that I met through TEIC. It was my first time in China, so I was glad that I had a group to go with rather than travelling alone.

I would recommend TEIC to anyone who wants to teach in China!

I went to China through Impact Teaching back in 2018 and it was hands down the best experience. They helped with every step of the process in getting there and were always just a phone call or email away if I needed any help. Additionally, the placements they offer are of the highest standard and are researched throughly, my school made me feel very welcome. The salary was very competitive and even allowed me to save money whilst I was there! I would 100% recommend them if you are considering moving to China to teach.

Had an amazing time when teaching English in Shaoxing in between my 2nd and 3rd year of university. This company were more reasonably priced than others I had looked at and the free option they now offer is amazing! I would highly recommend the experience due to the bonds I built with the other teachers, the delicious food I was able to taste as well as the places I was able to see. The support I got through the whole process leading up to the day I took off on the plane was 1st class. One of the best summers of my life!

If you’re thinking of working in China then this company - Impact Teaching, Go Overseas- is your best option! They provide so much support with the visa process and the school application process that something that should have been complicated was made stress free. Once in China at the teach english in China training you get on site support for everything you could possibly think of so you’re adaption to life in China is smooth. I chose Impact Teaching when I first decided to teach in China and it couldn't have been a better choice. They found me an amazing location- Zhangjiajie- which I would never have been able to find on my own. It was small but beautiful and I made friends for life there, as well as having excellent teaching hours and overall a great quality of living. They were there for every step of the process before going to China too, which is valuable especially during the visa process which can be somewhat tricky. With Impact Teaching I felt comfortable and supported and I was continuously checked on which only added to this. Thank you!!

I have taught in China twice now with this company in my summer terms of university. The company allows a really safe and exciting experience to teach and thrive in China. The communication and help provided makes the trip surprisingly relaxing, and the orientation days allow an opportunity to meet other teachers also going on the program!
I decided to go back with the same company as it was so enjoyable the first time. Despite not knowing anyone else either of my times, I made good friends with the other teachers and have an experience I’ll never forget. I intend to travel back to China, and if I do it’ll 100% be with this company, as I know it’s legitimate, safe, and a truly amazing time! I would recommend this to anyone considering travel or teaching!
