Experience of a Lifetime!!

Crete is the most amazing setting to earn a certification that opens your marketing potential to an entire world -- and I can think of no better teacher than Maria to have supported me throughout this journey! This program offers hands on experience and practice teaching Greek students English so students are able to apply everything they learn, and with Maria's support, nothing feels overwhelming! ...And in between/before/after lessons is always a great time to take a break at the stunning beaches! :) also the food is to die for. Cant recommend highly enough !

A Life Changing Experience

I can honestly say that taking this TEFL course has greatly impacted my life in a positive way. This intensive course provided me with the knowledge and skills I needed to know to become a successful TEFL teacher. The instructors were very knowledgeable, supportive, encouraging, and fun; they actually care if you succeed and are cheering for you every step of the way.

Chaina is a beautiful location with many things to see and do. The food is AMAZING; I never had a bad meal my entire time in Greece. And to top it off, Greek people are some of the friendliest and most welcoming people I have ever come across. It's so easy to feel at home here, I couldn't have asked for a better place to take my TEFL course.

Taking this course has changed my life. I obtained a job in Japan directly after the course and I am currently on my way to obtaining a job in Korea. Not only has this course opened so many opportunities for me but it has also given me the tools and confidence to succeed where ever I go.

To anyone who is still doubting whether or not to take this course, I say just do it! It's an amazing experience that I am so lucky to have.

Do it now!

I took this course in October 2009 and it kick-started what has been an incredibly satisfying career in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. My first teaching job would have been much more difficult without the knowledge and skills I gained in this course. The instructors were very knowledgeable and supportive and the classes were very interactive. I made some great friends through the course and even met up with one classmate in Hanoi, Vietnam a couple of years ago.

Chania is a stunningly beautiful town and the island of Crete is one of my favorite places in the world. There are countless places to explore and the food is truly to die for. I'll never forget the meals and drinks looking out across the harbor and enjoying a dip in the sea after class. You couldn't ask for a better setting to take a TEFL course.

I can truly say that this course changed my life. While I knew I wanted to teach English, I had no real qualification or experience and having this certificate has opened up many job opportunities around the world. I have now taught in 5 countries across 3 continents and have currently moved into an administrative position at one of the top private schools in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I am preparing to get married and can't imagine leaving the field of education so yeah, this course was pretty important in determining the direction of my life.

I thought about leaving the US to teach for many years before I finally took the plunge and that was undoubtedly the best decision I've ever made. If you're considering this course, stop thinking and do it now!

Best decision I ever made

Maria is a wonderful, supportive, and inspiring instructor, and Chania is absolutely gorgeous. I earned my TEFL certificate here a few years ago. Maria put me in touch with a former graduate of her program who was teaching in Istanbul at the time, and this former student helped my get a job where he was teaching. I lived in Turkey for a year and had the most wonderful incredible adventure doing it.

Nowadays, I no longer teach ESL, but I may again in the future. My teaching experience redirected my career in a positive way, and through these changes I met my Austrian now-wife. It's funny how sometimes you can trace some of the most important, impactful occurrences back to one event, and Maria's TEFL course in Crete really started a wonderful ripple effect for me.

I went back to Chania on my honeymoon recently, and Maria and the island are as lovely as I remember them. If you're thinking about doing something exciting and different, just go for it. You won't regret it.
