LetsTEFL promises to provide comprehensive support to aspiring English teachers, but in my experience, the support system falls far short of expectations. One of the main reasons I chose LetsTEFL was because of its advertised focus on offering guidance throughout the job search process, as well as providing ongoing support once I had completed my certification. Unfortunately, the reality of their service does not align with the marketing.

From the very beginning, communication was a significant issue. Emails were rarely answered promptly, and when they were, the responses were often vague or failed to address the concerns I raised. For a platform that claims to offer personalized support, I found myself navigating a frustratingly impersonal system. I needed help with the job search process and was told that I would have access to dedicated staff who could provide advice and feedback on applications and interviews. Instead, I received generic templates and links to outdated job boards. When I tried to ask for more specific help or clarification, it often took days, sometimes weeks, to get a response.

One of the major selling points of LetsTEFL is the guarantee of job placement assistance, but this promise felt hollow. The assistance provided was minimal at best, and there was little in the way of follow-up or personalized attention. It seemed as though the moment I completed the course, their interest in helping me dropped off completely. I felt like I was left to fend for myself, with no clear direction or support system in place.

Even more frustrating was the lack of support for those of us who had specific issues or needed extra guidance. LetsTEFL advertises that they cater to a wide range of students from different backgrounds and with different levels of experience, but I found that if your situation was even slightly outside the norm, there was little to no flexibility in how they provided support. I felt like just another name on a long list of students they were trying to process quickly.

I also encountered technical issues with their platform, and getting help to resolve these problems was another challenge. I expected timely assistance given how important access to the course materials was, but the support team took an inordinate amount of time to respond. When they finally did, the solutions offered were often temporary or incomplete, leading to repeated disruptions in my study schedule.

Moreover, the promised alumni network and community that could provide further guidance and networking opportunities was practically non-existent. Once you finish the course, you are left to your own devices, with little effort made to create or maintain any form of ongoing engagement or support.

In the end, LetsTEFL feels like a company that is more interested in enrolling students and collecting fees than providing the ongoing support that many novice teachers genuinely need. The lack of responsiveness, vague communication, and poor follow-through make it hard to recommend this program to anyone looking for more than just a basic certification. If you’re hoping for real, personalized support and guidance, you might want to consider other TEFL programs that truly stand behind their promises.

This company is eager to take your money but falls flat when you require assistance getting employed. You're taught grammar and given basic videos to demonstrate how to teach online. I recall, in the beginning, I used to receive prompt responses to my emails, that was prior to signing up for the course. That changed a 180 degrees when I had paid in full and needed help with getting employed. They may have guaranteed job placements, but that is usually why someone goes to get TEFL certificate in the first place. The certification is not as accredited or recognized internationally as you may think in is when you sign up.

This online TEFL course was very well structured. It wasn't only great for teaching but also to renew some grammar and language theory for oneself. I learned a lot of new teaching techniques that I am excited to apply in the future. Explanations and examples were provided appropriately for each of the sections. I did not really need it because the course is designed pretty self explanatory but there would have been assistance from the company any time. Overall, a great and absolutely managable challenge if you are committed to become a foreign language teacher.

It was at the time of the pandemic when I lost my job overseas and I decided to take this online course to pursue my other dream: teaching English to foreigners. Thankfully, my boyfriend looked very much into Let's TEFL's program and he recommended this for me to take. And it was the best decision we both have made. When the time came that I had to be repatriated to my home country, I started this course right away. One thing I liked most while taking this track is that I was able to finish the course while I am doing a part time job teaching English for Japanese students online and while looking for a regular job. You can take so much of your time to review each module and take the assessments right after on your very own pace. Another thing is their promptness to reply on your queries with the best they can. If they are offline, that is just fine because they will email you right away a response. No worries at all. They got your back! The certificate was also sent to me for FREE with a very trusted international courier plus a soft copy of it was sent to my email together with my lesson plan assignment score and feedback which are very precise and direct to the point. You must be enjoying a beach vacation while having a sun bath and teaching young students simultaneously. This really good for people who are adventurous retired with family in a beautiful country. Earn by teaching while you are enjoying your vacation.
Good Value for money!

Let's make this short and simple:
1. Content- very easy to understand. There's a quiz after each lesson so you won't forget what you just read
2. Support- they've supported me all the way. They even helped me when I had a problem uploading the file for my final assignment which was the Lesson Plan sample :)
3. Value for money- This is the most affordable and legit TEFL course for me. I even got a discount code somewhere online ;) so that made it way more affordable.

Pros:
- Reasonably priced compared to many other TEFL courses being offered online.
- Sections have quizzes and are broken down into easy to digest, informative sections.
- Online support is available, and fairly fast email responses if they are offline.
- Final assignment is marked and returned to you within 7 days.
- Fast shipping of certificate.
- More than one chance if you fail the final exam or assignment.
- Staff will help you with finding an overseas placement if you wish.

Cons:
- Let's TEFL implies they are UK based however they are not. The address on Let's TEFL certificate is listed as London, however, the certificate ships out from Taipei, Taiwan.
- I feel they could have had a more in depth online tutoring section, it only really covers teaching kids online. I would have liked some more guidance on adult online tutoring.
- I have concerns over the privacy protection of students' personal information, I was accidentally sent the full name and address of another student which is quite concerning.

The company is very reliable, as it takes you through all the steps and admin required to first study towards a 120-hour tefl certificate; creating a CV that meets the standards required; how to ace your interview; and assists in finding a job for you in the country and city you wish for. The tutors are very helpful and always available on the site. Let's TEFL is a 'one-stop shop' for anything TEFL required. I went through my TEFL certification with ease as the lessons were thoroughly explained and guided me well when I finally had to do my final assessments. I obtained 81% for my TEFL course, and that was all just by doing the lessons. Let's TEFL is a wonderful company and very efficient when it comes to sending your certificate. I'd recommend it to anyone. It's the best.
