Loved it!

I am so grateful for my abroad experience in Milan! I went without knowing anyone and made so many new friends. I got to travel and see so many new amazing places. My internship taught me so much about the fashion industry and has prepared me to pursue a career in the fashion industry once I graduate. I am so grateful my experience. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Milan will always hold a special place in my heart. I can’t wait to come back one day. Thank you global experiences for everything!

I love Amanda and Antonella!!!

They made the experience so smooth and fun!! Anything that we needed they were there for us no questions asked. I’m so happy I was able to get into this program. I would definitely recommend it for anyone that has been thinking about study abroad. We had a lot of freedom and we’re able to really immerse in the culture. The events put on were fun and got us to meet the other people in the program. The apartments were safe and nice, we all got our own space. It was easy to make friends and we all got super close super fast!

Summer in Milan

I absolutely loved my summer in Milan so much! Learning about the new culture and getting to experience life in this city was the best experience I could’ve asked for. Amanda and Antonella were the most amazing on site coordinator! They were able to help us integrate and get the best out of our experience! I can not say enough about how much they helped me feel at home and comfortable in such a new environment. They were there every step of the way and made it such an easy adjustment. I love Milan so much and will miss this city with my whole heart.

You’re missing out if you don’t do it

Not only was I paired so well with my employer and roommates, each week was special. From traveling to new place and meeting new people, I learned so much every day. Amanda and Antonella were so encouraging and accommodating. I would do it again if I could!! I now know I want to do fashion marketing because of the clarification from this program. These are memories I will cherish forever. My favorite memory was taking a pasta making class in Florence with my roommates! I learned so much about Italy and the culture.

AMAZING

I have learned so much about myself and the world! I am going to be forever greatful for this experience and cannot wait to share it with my friends in family. I will be sharing this experience with people so that they are able to experience something like this. I have found a new city that I have called in love with and am so greatful for that. The people in the city have made it feel like home and now when I come back, I know I am coming back to family. I would not change this for the world I loved it.

My overall experience was so good I enjoyed my time here. I really liked traveling on the weekends all the European countries are east to travel on the weekend. My roommates were great and we all got alone well. I have learned so much about myself and other cultures I would recommend the experience to anyone who is wanting a great adventure. I felt very safe the entire time and everyone was so helpful when I needed some advise or had any problems. I fell in love with Italy and I hope to be back here soon.

It is not essential to speak Italian in order to participate in the Milan program. The majority of our interns who have attended the programs in Italy did not speak any Italy. While the majority of our placements in Milan are in English, we encourage that interns familiarize themselves with some of the Italian basics they learn in their language classes. Hope this helps!
