The course was everything I needed and more. My advisor and instructor were very helpful, and I found that even though the course was challenging, it was very informative. In the beginning, I had zero knowledge of teaching, but now I feel much more confident as I search for my first job overseas. I'd read that this course was very tough, and it's true, but it's a gradually process that goes from slightly easy to really difficult. I'd never before created full lesson plans or activity worksheets from scratch—now that I've done that, I know I can take on anything. It keeps you on your toes and it has shaped me into a better facilitator! I don't have my degree yet, but that still isn't stopping me from achieving my dream of traveling! Future students, I'd say 'go for it and have fun!'
What is your advice to future travelers on this program?

Thanks for taking the time to write this detailed review, Stefanie. Glad you feel prepared to take the plunge and move abroad and begin your teaching career. We'll pass this feedback over to Robert, too! Don't hesitate to get in touch, you have a personalized job search advisor here at ITA just like you worked with Robert on the front end. Thanks for your feedback about ou job search guidance advisors. Our job search advisors operate a bit differently because every single student is on a different timeline. Some students get certified and don't actually want to teach abroad for another 2 years, so they just aren't ready to begin their job search yet. If you're ready to get your job search started now, get in touch with us and we are ready to work with you and get your job search rolling. I will also pass this message along to our Student Affairs team and have someone reach out to you! - ITA
