RVF international 2021-2022

I am currently enrolled as a teaching assistant on my way to Madrid with the help of RVF International and the company staff. I have mainly worked with Harrison and Lourdes who have very diligently answered and handled all of my questions and concerns throughout this process. Harrison and the team have worked incredibly hard to ensure that all of the participants have a positive experience teaching abroad. I couldn't recommend this program more for anyone who is searching for an opportunity to travel to Spain!

RVF International - the BEST program!

If you are thinking of moving, traveling, or teaching abroad...use this company! It was so simple from start to finish. The RVF crew do a really great job at communicating, detailing step by step instructions, and answering any and all questions. It also is a great connection to other solo travelers. From WhatsApp groups to Facebook groups, you meet a ton of people from all over, find your crew in your new city, and find roomies. The Spanish Visa Process can be a lot...I know because I tried it once on my own. 🤦🏻‍♀️ That was a mistake! This time, I used RVF, Harrison, and Lourdes. It was so simple! They really take care of/help you get everything you need. This doesn’t stop with the VISA. They are working hard for you trying to find apartments and accommodations that you are happy with as well. I honestly felt like they cared and wanted me to be happy while I’m in Spain. All in all, I would definitely use them again! Moving across country can be scary and hard. Make it easier with a job lined up waiting for you. Use RVF!

What would you improve about this program?
Honestly, not one thing. RVF, Harrison, and Lourdes go way above and beyond to help you, make sure you are happy/satisfied, and set you up for success. This is a great program to go through to have the opportunity to work and live in another country. I’ve taught abroad in a couple of countries through multiple organizations/companies, and this hands down is the most organized and stress-free!

Honest and Helpful

My whole time working with RVF the staff were quick to answer any questions I had, and proactive in giving resources to help on the transition. Due to changing circumstances with my girlfriend's work I ultimately had to withdraw from the program and RVF was considerate and understood my reasoning. RVF offers more than just the basics to get there with access to resources to learn the local language on your own time and with suggestions on ways to extra income. I would 100% recommend RVF to anyone looking to go overseas as my time with them was excellent.

Transparent, Trustworthy, Exceptional, and Wonderful

RVF was one of my first experiences abroad. Carlos, Harrison, and the rest of the team were always helpful, transparent, and supportive. They even put me in touch with another RVF participant to talk to and ask further questions. I was, unfortunately, unable to attend for the year I signed up because I got offered another job in China. They were completely understanding and I had my refund back in a matter of days. Nonetheless, this is a program I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to go abroad. Highly professional and efficient. 10/10

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Take 1-2K as a safety net. Also, learn as much Spanish as you can!

A great experience

A wonderful time to learn a culture, a language and see what teaching is like in a different country. I have a good time teaching, and I get along very well with the other teachers. They are more than willing to practice spanish with me. I am looking forward to returning next year as well. The program is good for singles and for couples. I even know retirees in the teachers assistant program Spain has lot to offer whether you are in the country or in the city. I myself am in Madrid, so I get the city experience. Enjoy your time with RVF!!!

THE most helpful program, by far

I´ve been fortunate to have made a lot of friends here in Madrid that are also participating in the auxiliares de conversación program and, as we have gone through the necessary steps, it has become increasingly apparent from the beginning to end of this process that Harrison and the rest of the RVF team always go above and beyond for us. The price is incredibly fair and better than that of some other programs, and the help we have received is unmatched. Not to mention my closest friend in Madrid is someone I met through RVF!

RVF International

I started this program in September with my sister and we are in the south of Spain, in Bollullos Par del Condado. Being a teacher from New York, it is a great program to learn new teaching philosophies and techniques. Even amid a global pandemic, I have created everlasting memories. In the times the we are able to travel, my sister and I have had the opportunities to explore Spain. From caves and beaches, to mountains and villages, we have immersed ourselves in the culture and rich history. This program gives you everything you need to have an amazing experience.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
My advice to future travelers is to use your weekends to the best ability that you can. Find a balance between traveling and also exploring your own town or city. Push yourself to talk to as many people around you and you'll find that you can make friendships easily.

RVF International

I have enjoyed my experience in this program since day one. The consultants and directors I have spoken to throughout the process were supportive and dedicated to making it as smooth as possible. They have always been there when I needed them. From answering a small question to more intense issues, everyone has been extremely helpful. I have communicated through email and video chats online and both have been efficient. The school I was placed in is wonderful and I am grateful to have met such great people. I would recommend this program to anyone interested in working abroad!

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
My advice would be to always take the opportunity when you have it to travel! Locally, internationally, whatever it may be, go for it! If a colleague asks to show you a local place or city, take them up on their offer. They are more than happy to bring you and are proud to share their history and culture with you. Packing lightly and bringing water with you for any type of trip is helpful. Booking.com and GetYourGuide are great sites for tours and hotels. Make sure to ask someone you meet in your town or at school about the transit system including the buses. Soak it all in!

Hello Jeremy, Thank you for your question! Housing is independent and is not included in the program. However, our program has a very comprehensive housing assistance plan that helps our program participants find housing in Spain. On average, on average those in our program who follow our housing plan move into a fully furnished apartment in Spain within the first 48-72 hours of arriving in Spain...

It's very exciting to embark on this sort of Teach Abroad adventure with family! Currently at RVF International, we don't handle the visa process or transition process for family members. However, for anyone in the program coming to Spain with family, we are more than happy to get them in touch with English-speaking immigration lawyers in Spain who would be able to help answer all family member...

Hello Richard, Thank you for your question! You will earn anywhere between €700 EUR to €1000 EUR depending on where in Spain you'll be teaching as your monthly salary will be relative to the standard cost of living of where you'll be teaching. Doesn't sound like much? Don't worry, it is! Spain is one of the least expensive countries in all of Western Europe to live in, and you'll earn more than...
