Online Level 5 TEFL Course

I’m not usually the kind of person to give reviews but I just had to for Tefl Academy. The course materials were very helpful and easily accessible. Access to the online portal was simple and navigating around it was so easy. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and felt I got great value. The tutor and admin support were amazing. I would always get quick responses which helped me to complete my assignments on time. This is the first online course I’ve done in teaching and it’s safe to say it won’t be my last due to this positive experience! Thank you Tefl Academy!

In this course I found everything an aspiring teacher could want!
The contents of the course are very interesting, they give many ideas about the conduct of the lessons, the teaching methods and also explains what the possible difficulties of the students are and all the possible ways to deal with them.
The assistance has always been fantastic, they have always been available for any kind of problem and I have always received prompt answers. I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart!

This course is well-structured and comprehensive. I enjoyed studying at my own pace and support is provided if required. Even if you don't have any experience in teaching, the material is easy to understand. After every unit, you have the opportunity to test your knowledge (and try again if you failed). The assignments are set out clearly, some with examples of what is required. Many opportunities are offered to practice the planning side of teaching. If you are serious about teaching English though, I would suggest doing the combined course to prepare you for the practical side of teaching others.

Having this course be online is so accessible, it allowed me to work around my job and pick up lessons whenever it was convenient for me. There were so many resources, it never felt like I was being moved through a unit without the proper academic support. The assessments were very thorough and I felt like the information from each unit was being reinforced rather than tested. Importantly, the feedback on the assignments was incredibly helpful and detailed, I felt like I was getting the most out of each submission.

The curriculum was very difficult. The trick questions were unnecessary and much of the content was not relatable for Online teaching
Support was non existent , the dashboard difficult to access and then I was logged out permanently and have now lost all my work.
Will not recommend this course.
Nobody responded to my emails
and I was unable to log in for 2 months and then was surprised to learn the course had expired. Do not falsely promote the fact your staff are always on hand , when they are not.

I did the online course and couldn’t fault it! Really easy to follow, straightforward, didn’t have any technical issues, and the instructions were clear.
The learning process is divided into manageable chunks with regular tests to assess progress. Good mix of text and video with videos of lessons to analyse.
This was a great TEFL course for me! It was so useful to be able to complete it at my own pace and was super easy to come back to at any point without any pressure.
I feel like I learned so much through the process. Would genuinely recommend to anyone!

I really liked the tefl academy since it is online and it allows to take the classes at your own pace. I also think that the fact that it was fully online never caused any problem, the lessons are well organized and it's easy to follow the structure of the website.
having my certificate will allow me to travel and have the freedom i've always wanted in a job. It is great for travellers and people who prefer being autonomous whenit comes to their lifestyle and work
