I recently completed my Level 5 TEFL course, and it was one of the best investments ever! The material you have to cover and complete is extensive, and challenging. Although not easy, you are provided with everything you need in order to succeed. Without a doubt it will prepare you for teaching English as a foreign language - whether it be online or in person. And it has already opened up new doors for me. Excited for the new chapter in my life, thanks to TEFL. Would highly recommend to anyone ready to explore the world of teaching English.

I enjoyed this course and found it set up very well. The resources given are extremely good and will help me in the future. I also find that it was priced so well for all the information I was taught and the resources that I was given. The assignments were quite hard for me to get because I would procrastinate a lot but I did enjoy them because they were structured very well which helped me to complete them. I enjoyed the little quizzes within the learning and it helped me to retain knowledge. The in-person course was also very good and helped me learn from an experienced teacher in this field

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?

When I was moving overseas and had to extend the course because I didn’t have enough time to finish it with university and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to finish the course in time after that.

What is one piece of advice you'd give to someone going on your program?

The one piece of advice I would give is to plan ahead and to do your best. Worrying and stressing won't help you. The resources, as well as the markers, are there to assist and help you achieve your best. Planning ahead is beneficial as you do not want to get stuck with a pile of work and then have to ask for an extension. Just do your absolute best and you will reap the rewards.

What does an average day/week look like as a participant of this program?

The TEFL course spanned over a period of 6 months which gave me ample time to complete my course accordingly. Some units take more time than others to complete, but if you plan and stick to that plan, you will not have a problem. The TEFL site also makes it easy and exciting to learn so that you do not get bored or frustrated during your study session.

Going into your experience abroad, what was your biggest fear, and how did you overcome it? How did your views on the issue change?

I have no been abroad yet for TEFL teaching, but I am surely looking into it. I would love to travel to Asia, as I have been to India once and I absolutely loved it. I would like to visit Japan, South Korea, and China as a TEFL teacher and hopefully start my career there. I look forward to new experiences and challenges.

Any other tips for any prospective traveler?

India is a fantastic country, not quite like what I initially perceived it to be. The people are genuine and the country itself is a true wonder. My advice to anyone traveling there is to absorb as much as he/she/they can. India is rich with culture and history, full of diversity. Visiting places such as the Taj Mahal brings a totally different feeling, the atmosphere is spectacular. India is a beautiful country and so are its people.
