Brilliant EPIK Recruiter

I applied for the EPIK Spring (2024) intake. Alistair was hands on and kept me updated and ahead in the application process. He went out of his way to ensure that I submitted the best application that I could and ensured that I understood the expectations and timelines involved in the process. Alistair went out of his way to proof read my application, audit my documents and notify me of any changes or upcoming deadlines, ensuring that I could remedy any issues prior to review by the EPIK program. Alistair provided excellent feedback and guidance for my lesson plan, mock interview and application essays. The above cannot fully describe the dedication and commitment that he provides applicants. If something went wrong, he would reach out and reassure me that any hiccups could be resolved... Not to mention that his response times were fast! I am certain that without his support this process would not have been as seamless and I am truly grateful for the commitment and dedication that he displayed towards me.

The Best Agency!

Working with Korean Horizons has been an absolute pleasure! From the moment I reached out, Alistair was incredibly responsive and attentive to everything. Alistair's professionalism and dedication to making sure I was on the right track to getting a job in South Korea are what sets Korean Horizons apart from any other agency out there. I'd highly recommend KH to anyone and everyone! For those serious about seeking an opportunity to work abroad, KH is the way to go! You will not regret having KH as your agency and will feel supported throughout the whole journey. It will be stressful, but as long as you communicate everything with your recruiter, you'll be guaranteed success.

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?
Interview! My least favourite part of the experience - but Alistair offering the mock-interview was incredibly helpful as he offered insights and feedback on how to better present yourself to your future employer. It was needed!

Very helpful and smooth process

Korean Horizons was such a great choice for me.

Alistair was so so supportive throughout the process and kept checking in to make sure everything was on track. And even checking in after we got placed. I appreciated how everything for our first night in Korea was already sorted, from the transport from the airport to the hotel stay.

If I were to do it all again, I'd still pick Korean Horizon.

Once again, huge shout out to Alistair for being so consistent and so reliable for the past few months to ensure we get into the EPIK program.

KH is literally 10/10

If anyone is thinking of applying to teach in South Korea through EPIK please apply with Korean Horizons. Alistair will go above and beyond for you. He will keep you updated about literally anything so you won’t have to worry about anything. The application process can be a bit stressful at times but he makes everything so much better. Alistair books you into a hotel near the airport so you arrive a day before orientation starts so you get to rest a bit after your flight. He also checks in on you after you’ve landed and throughout your stay in South Korea.
I highly recommend Korean Horizons!

Korean Horizons is SUPERB!!

My ratings of my placement are completely unrelated to my ratings of Korean Horizons. My placements gets about a 3.5 but Korean Horizons gets 10/5! Alistair was SO thorough, kind, helpful, reasonable, professional, knowledgeable, and readily available along each step of the process! It was wonderful!
He helped prepare me so well for my interviews, guided me in getting all my required documents & even met me at the hotel room he provided for me!

I'd HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend KH to anyone interested in working as an EPIK teacher in Korea.

What was your funniest moment?
When I met Alistair in person, i guess he saw how stressed out I was about orientation & meeting my coteacher, and he just looked at me and said, "you seriously need to relax, okay?"

Amazing service

Korean Horizons is so attentive and will guide you every step of the way. I always recommend it to everyone who asks me how I got my job , that is how much I believe in them. It made my interview process easier. It was like I had someone holding my hand through out. I do not regret using them and I hope I can still use their services later in life. The recruiter keeps his word and when he tells you I will get you that job, you will get it as long as you work with him as a team. So I urge all to use it.
