The customer service they provide is outstanding! They are always quick to respond to any queries and do so in a warm welcoming manner. The course itself has been simple to follow through with lots of examples used throughout. The quiz at the end of every module is also an excellent way to test your knowledge. I believe that many others who need a TEFL certificate should look no further and sign up with Premier TEFL. You won't regret it!

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?

Prepare yourself mentally for this journey of a lifetime! You will enjoy it for sure but you must accept the fact that you will miss home, you will miss family as well as many things. Research things to do and ways to keep yourself entertained.

Stay positive, work hard, and most importantly - have fun! :D

The platform is arranged in such a way that you hardly need to stress yourself in order to understand how it all works, pretty self-explanatory. I found the material to be well-written, highly organized and informative. Lots of practical ideas I could potentially use in the future. They have great customer service, communication is quick and easy. It turned out to be a very good idea to start my journey with them. I would recommend Premier TEFL to any aspiring English Teacher who wants to incorporate innovative and engaging activities in everyday classroom.

What would you improve about this program?

I especially enjoyed video content and would perhaps suggest adding more videos.

I studied this course a couple of years ago and found it very useful. Although there is a timescale of 6 months to finish it, it is very flexible and it enables you to work at your own pace in order to complete it.
The topics that are covered are interesting and beneficial, and I’m more than certain than I’ll be able to put the techniques and methods into practice when teaching.
The work load is manageable and the staff are happy to help throughout the course, as well as before the course when you first enquire about studying with them.

I would highly recommend this program to my family and friends.The program is the best value for the money I have seen.I'm a retired nurse with a BSN and this program let me put my education in a new direction.I'm now working from home with three online companies and looking at teaching abroad.The investment is small to launch a new career and travel opportunities.The price is the lowest I have seen online for TEFL with the best support I have seen of the online companies.You can easily pay twice as much with much less customer support.The program was so incredibly valuable to me I purchased three more courses and looking to do the CELTA soon.

What would you improve about this program?

The program is great as I'm now working for three online companies.The support is excellent not sure what could be improved to be honest.

I have reseached the best way to enter into this sector for a while, and I have to say, I have nothing bad to say about my choice of premierTEFL.
I have started the program in november, and I will be starting to work next week! The support given was also great.
The course is very easy to follow and they provide great internship programs that will get you working in no time.
I am plannng to also follow their lever 5 course some time in the near future. For now, I'm just grateful for the job I have found through them!

The course was really helpful and covered relevant topics in a lot of detail, including context on the English-teaching profession, teaching techniques, lesson planning, etc. I have some experience teaching English but found that the course really increased my preparation and confidence as I look for a new position working with different demographics of English language learners. I want to give a shout out to their customer support staff who were SO helpful and responsive whenever I had questions. Great customer service!

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?

I certainly wish I had been more on top of completing the course quickly! I ended up needing to get an extension- but that's on me, and their customer support team was super helpful in helping me figure out how to do so!

I have been an ESL teacher for twenty years, now. I taught in bilingual schools in Kuwait and in American schools. I had already taken a 120-hr (free) TEFL course online. However, I was left feeling I hadn't really learned or achieved very much from it. So, I decided to try the 240-hr Expert TEFL course with Premier TEFL. I was excited by how in-depth and informative this course really is. Not only has the course refreshed my memory of activities, etc. but also introduced new ideas and concepts. I feel I have really gotten my money's worth with this course. Sandra has been extremely helpful, quickly answering all my emails. Premier provides useful tips with job searches, internships, etc. They have many short videos through the course that give you more information about teaching abroad. You never feel alone with Premier TEFL. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone and everyone who want to teach abroad.

What was the most unfamiliar thing you ate?

The first time I arrived in Amman, Jordan I was invited to eat at a family's home. I'm from Ohio, I've eaten sausages before but this day they made sheep intestines. I was a little reluctant at first but it was actually very good.

I completed my online TEFL with Premier, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff is sweet and almost always available to chat with your questions. This was incredibly helpful, as before making your big TEFL move you are bound to have a bunch of them. I even stopped by their office in Ireland on my way East, and they gave me a warm welcome. The course itself is structured in an easy to understand manner, and complete with videos/quizzes to help reinforce the material. It doesn't take too long if you dedicate a couple of hours per day into it, and I saved all the material to have as a reference point. I have worked as an ESL teacher now both in person and remotely all over the world thanks to Premier, and their course was definitely the key to unlocking an entirely new lifestyle. Take the plunge and go for it!

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?

Understand that in the beginning, you are going to make mistakes and that this is not just normal, and part of the process. Be resilient and it'll all work out if you put in enough effort

Why did you choose this program?

I chose to complete my TEFL certificate with Premier Tefl because I knew it was the first thing I needed to start teaching English online. I wanted to choose a company that had courseware that would actually prep me for my new career, which is what I got with this company. Not only that, Premier Tefl provides so much support and guidance to their students. I received a stellar course and wonderful support from the team that made the transition into online teaching so much easier than I expected.

What did your program provider (or university) assist you with, and what did you have to organize on your own?

Premier Tefl was an incredible company to complete my 120hr TEFL certificate through. Correspondance with their team was always easy and they provided so much support throughout the course. The course itself was great! I actually felt like I was learning the necessary tools to become an ESL teacher. The software was easy to navigate and the course was engaging from start to finish. I completed my certificate feeling as though I was really ready to start teaching ESL students.

The only thing you have to organise on your own is actually completing the course!

What is one piece of advice you'd give to someone going on your program?

If you're thinking about getting your TEFL certificate and completing a Premier Tefl course, I would highly recommend getting yourself a small notebook to write down what you're learning. The courseware is very informative and educational. The new knowledge that I obtained, I was able to retain and use in real-life ESL teaching because I wrote things down as I was studying them.

I would also recommend seeking the help of the staff for any query you may have whether that's in relation to the course itself or the opportunities that having a TEFL certificate can provide you with. The whole team is really supportive and helpful!

What does an average day/week look like as a participant of this program?

You can complete your TEFL certificate at your own pace with Premier TEFL. If you want to study the course quickly, it is possible to do so! I wanted to complete the course quickly so that I could start my new career as an online ESL teacher as soon as possible. I studied for at least a few hours every day until I completed it. However, you have that flexibility, so it really depends on your individual situation. I would recommend putting some time into it every day so that the knowledge you're learning remains fresh in your mind and you can start your career as an ESL teacher sooner.

Going into your experience abroad, what was your biggest fear, and how did you overcome it? How did your views on the issue change?

I think my biggest fear starting my career as an ESL teacher was whether I could retain students and make a lasting career out of having my TEFL. I realised pretty quickly that I had a passion for teaching English as a foreign language and I was equipped with the knowledge to do so thanks to Premier TEFL. Honestly, I am so glad I got my TEFL and made the change in my career, I now have a ton of amazing students who I get to teach daily, I really didn't need to have that fear.

What advice would you give to future TEFL teachers?

Just do it! As cliche as that may sound, having a TEFL certificate has opened up so many doors for me. I can now fulfill my passion for travel, while at the same time working a job that I am very passionate about. It is so rewarding to see my students improve their skills in every class and to make strong connections with them and their families.

What is your favorite travel memory?

Snorkeling in the Caribbean is certainly on top of the list and jumping down a waterfall in the Amazon rainforest in Venezuela.

I went for an evening walk through a small village in Italy with friends and in the middle of nowhere, the was an old ruin which must have been a small amphitheatre at some stage. Locals had brought food and there was a band playing, it turned out to be one of the most magical nights ever. We ate, drank and danced through the night.

I have so many great memories of the amazing friendliness of people met across the globe who made me feel at home.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I love providing our customers with the best customer service that I often wish I would receive myself. I feel we are very different and really care about every single person who gets in touch with us.

I always loved to travel and have visited more than 30 countries, it is so great to share my experience with others and meet like-minded people every day!

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

I love hearing from everyone but was most impressed with a student who completed our course and found her calling teaching in an orphanage in Costa Rica and decided to turn her life around at the age of 58 years, amazing, isn't it!!! It certainly proves that you are never too old!! Do not dare not to dare (C.S. Lewis)!!

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

This is a very tricky question, they are all great! If I would have to pick one it would be our program in Argentina Buenos Aires. Most of all because Argentina is still high up on my travel list and I know how well our partners are looking after everyone.

Patagonia is still a big dream of mine and I can't wait to go someday!

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

We are all working great together and are looking after each other very well. There is always someone willing to help with tasks and you always feel supported. We have a very healthy atmosphere in the office and it is fun too ;-)

It is the best feeling to go to work every day and look forward to it!

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

It is definitely our can-do attitude and that spreads over all departments. I feel so lucky to be a part of Premier TEFL, we work in this great team and we all really love what we are doing. We are all curious to hear from our teachers and get excited about their achievements and are with them all along the way and after ;-)
