About Program

We have placed teachers in Korea since 2007 with zero complaints because we at T.E.I.K. (Teach English in Korea) are a husband-and-wife team who have taught, lived, and worked in Korea as ESL teachers and government officials. We pride ourselves on being a boutique recruitment agency that is always focused on our teachers getting the best job opportunity that fits the teacher's qualifications, experience, and preferences.

We are a very laid-back, low-pressure, expat-owned, and run agency. We also live by the motto, “No B.S., No Drama.” If you are not 100% certain that you feel that you would be a great candidate to teach English in Korea, then don't waste both of our time. We only want to work with caring and honest individuals who have an adventurous spirit, love to travel, and meet new people. We will assist with gathering visa documents, the visa process, placement, arrival to Korea, and continued support during your full year in Korea.

Things are going extremely well in Bundang!

Brad- things are going extremely well at Jayeon and thanks again for getting me placed so quickly. I started teaching classes this week after training, and beginning Monday, I have a full load with a new theme. I am doing well and enjoying the experience very much.
I thought you would enjoy these pics of the school, teacher colleagues, and Korean teachers and staff at my school in Bo Jeong-gu. Hope all is well with you and Yumi and thanks again for sorting everything out for me.
Cheers! Valerie K.-Bundang

Teach English in Korea

This company goes above and beyond customers expectations. They will go the extra mile to help all get the best result. Their staff is second to none and superior training. I have helped others I know in the industry to match them with the best possible outcome. I have been involved with South Korea for 17 years and this company is the best company I have met. They are always willing to answer questions fully and assist those who need the right connection. They are reliable and trustworthy. Don’t hesitate to contact them.

Great Experience

Hi Brad,

Well, my situation is terrific. I'm only about ten minute's walk from my work to the city center. I love my school, and I tell everyone that my Director has been very kind to me. The coworkers are great, especially the Korean co-teachers, because they are quick to assist since I'm a new teacher, and they are also supportive when I ask them for advice on lessons, curriculum, etc. A Korean coworker, in particular, has taken me under his wing, shown me around the city, introduced me to many Korean dishes, and taken me hiking on a few weekends. I'm delighted I chose to come to Korea and have this adventure so far away from back home in the States. These experiences will help me be a better teacher and I can't wait to travel around SE Asia after my contract finishes. I will probably want to come back from another year, so I will surely hit you up again. You were great in helping me gather all of the visa documents, getting them apostille notarized, finding a job, and following up with me after I was settled in Korea. I will be sure to recommend your agency to other expats who are looking for a good school.

Cheers,

Teach English In Korea Program

Hello! I came to Korea back in 2016 with the Teach English In Korea Program.

It has been the best experience, from the start of the process to when I landed in Korea. Bradley (Prof. Brennan) has done a superb job assisting me with any and everything I needed. Our orientation was fun and very memorable and I made friends that weekend that has been with me ever since. I am still in Korea and have not lost contact with Brad and I've been on several other orientation weekends, as I'm now a bit of a veteran myself.

I would definitely recommend this program to anyone who is considering making the move to come to teach English in Korea. If I didn't have this 'family' I would have been lost and confused.

Thank you, Brad!

Pros
  • Support with the whole visa process, from start to finish.
  • Orientation weekend that helps with settling in and making friends and finding a community.
  • Having options for placements of schools throughout the country.

Going to teach in Korea is such a fun experience! Living in such an advanced country will give you many opportunities. Even more so when you know you can count on a recruiter that cares about where you are placed! After years of teaching here you realize the environment you are put into really determines if you will succeed. Work life balance can be difficult at times, but once you get into a routine it’s great! I would say come ready to adjust to an environment that’s not your own and most of all come with a positive and happy attitude.

Great experience!

I have had a wonderful time teaching in Korea. I have been able to teach an extraordinarily cute and excessively smart group of students (and to learn so much from them); I have made a great group of friends; and been privileged to have made many life-changing memories. This is both because I had a good school with great kids and great coworkers/managers, and also because I had a good recruiter who focused on parsing through the available schools and exclusively working with good ones. Best of luck!

Pros
  • Food
  • Food (yes it’s that good)
  • Students!
Cons
  • Far from home

Great experience overall!

Awesome opportunity and resume builder! Overall it’s a great experience I would recommend for anyone! If you like to travel you’ll have the opportunity to explore the country you are in and surrounding areas. I made lots of contacts and connections through this opportunity. You really get to immerse yourself in the culture and the people. Plus all of the wonderful food, yum! There is also support if you need it as well. You can feel homesick at times, but there are lots of other teachers from all over, so it can be a shared experience with a built in support group. If you’re ready for a new job and life experience, apply now! :)

Pros
  • Travel
  • Experiencing new cultures
  • Great work experience
Cons
  • You might miss home
